A personal message from Ed Pendarvis...

I am one of you, and I thank you for your commitment to the principals that make our industry one of the most exciting and rewarding in the world. As a business broker you are an invaluable asset to the marketplace in listing, valuing, marketing, managing, selling, financing and closing small business transactions.

What I am proposing to you may seem unusual in that we have always been trained to assist the seller throughout the transaction. With an understanding of current and future trends, I have always believed that educating and representing the buyer can only enhance the sales process and augment revenue for all by exponentially increasing the number of deals we can close together.

With an upfront understanding by you and the potential buyer, I would be delighted to offer my services as I have had the good fortune to train and assist hundreds of business brokers throughout the US and the world, with several thousand successful transactions in retail, service, manufacturing, distribution, restaurants, bars, convenience stores and automotive. I would be pleased to bring this track record and experience to your deal.

Throughout my career I have certainly witnessed what you already know; an experienced business broker can build a more positive relationship with a buyer than an attorney and/or an accountant. Their job is to protect their client and to look for problems; our job is to find solutions to problems and get the deal done. We possess the knowledge of the small business marketplace that puts the buyer at ease and answers all questions necessary to provide the comfort level to close the deal.

Over the years, I have worked with many professionals as a "Referral Broker" under a simple 10% of the broker's fee agreement. Many times the buyer is more comfortable having a representative to help him/her and the time and effort necessary to close the deal may be significantly reduced. A win-win for everyone!
